Title:
Epilepsy Foundation

Description:
This photo (taken during the Epilepsy Foundation's annual Teens Speak Up! Day on the Hill) demonstrates the indefatigable spirit of our youngest epilepsy advocates. Each year in Washington, we gather dozens of teens with epilepsy from across the United States for a day-and-a-half of advocacy training. Then, we send them to the Hill to tell their stories and speak up about the need for increased epilepsy research and funding. Through rain, snow, and sleet, these young men and women race to the Hill, excited to share their message and leave an impression in the minds of their legislators.
