Roll Call Releases Nom, Nom, Nom-nibus: Allocating Your Dining Dollars, A Capitol Hill Dining Guide

Washington, D.C. (Dec. 15, 2014) – CQ Roll Call announced today the release of Nom, Nom, Nom-nibus: Allocating Your Dining Dollars, a Capitol Hill Guide eBook. The inaugural dining guide from Roll Call will focus on the Capitol Hill and congressional community.

Whether it’s Rose’s Luxury for a big splurge, where to feast on your hometown favorites, an early morning sugar rush at District Doughnuts or a rundown of the best hot dogs in town, Roll Call has eaters covered.

“The idea for such a guide comes from the realization that the community is a unique place and there is something for everyone here,” said Capitol Hill Editor Jason Dick. The guide will be divided like a menu, featuring sections such as aperitif, sips, snacks, splurges, specials and sweets.

Nom, Nom, Nom-nibus features reviews from Warren Rojas, Roll Call staff writer who pens the Heard on the Hill section and leads Roll Call’s dining coverage

“I genuinely enjoy the unique challenges posed by serving the congressional community. There are homesick expatriates to assuage, well-seasoned gourmands to titillate, cash-strapped up-and-comers to shake free from their comfort zones and adventure seekers to egg on,” added Rojas. “Not to mention how rewarding it’s been getting to know the tastemakers who’ve elected to call Capitol Hill — as well as other parts of D.C., and some of the surrounding areas — home.”

“We’re the newspaper for people who live and work and play on Capitol Hill, and you can’t do any of that without food. Warren’s stellar coverage of the burgeoning D.C. restaurant scene deserves its own publication, and so this is the first of many efforts to come,” said Roll Call Editor in Chief Christina Bellantoni.

The Nom, Nom, Nom-nibus is available on Amazon for $2.99. Find more information here:
