Title:
WaterAid

Author:
tiffany langston

Description:
In Spring 2016, WaterAid provided cameras to a group of girls in Nepal so they could document their lives while they were menstruating. In countries like Nepal, menstruation is seen as a taboo subject that is rarely discussed openly. In order to manage menstruation with dignity, it is essential that girls and women have privacy, water and soap. Equipped with cameras, these girls became their own advocates, and they were able to speak freely and stand up for what they need to lead healthy and productive lives.
