Washington, D.C. (Feb. 13) — CQ Roll Call, an Economist Group business, has named Eric Hammesfahr Vice President of Professional Services, a new role in the company.
Hammesfahr will launch an expansion aimed at bolstering new digital client services and features for the subscription business.
“Eric has a keen sense of what our capabilities are – and where we need to grow. This is critical as we redefine how CQ’s unparalleled legislative knowledge can be utilized to help our clients,” said Paul McHale, President of CQ Roll Call.
Hammesfahr, under the leadership of CQ Roll Call’s Chief Innovation Officer and Senior Vice President Matt Mansfield, will initially guide the expansion of legislative expertise offerings.
“Finding ways to enable our clients to solve their thorniest issues is what makes working at CQ Roll Call rewarding,” Hammesfahr said. “I’m optimistic about where we are heading and the value that clients will receive from our professional service offerings.”
Hammesfahr previously oversaw CQ Roll Call’s State Track as its product manager and, before that, as senior analyst on CQ’s regulatory and legal products team.
“Eric has proven himself to be a great collaborator who is fearless in finding answers to the trickiest challenges,” said Mansfield. “He has the expertise in content, product and business to make this venture a success.”
